IND vs NAM: Namibia’s Zane Green becomes fourth batter to get hit wicket in T20 World Cup

Namibia batter Zane Green was hit wicket off Shivam Dube against India during their T20 World Cup 2026 Group A match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Thursday.

Looking to reverse sweep a full-lengthed delivery, Green failed to connect with the ball and ended up swinging his bat onto the stumps. The wicket was the last one to fall in the innings, meaning Namibia folded for 116 runs, losing by 93 runs.

This was only the fourth instance of a batter being dismissed hit wicket in a T20 World Cup match. The other three batters are Hardik Pandya (2022), Nasum Ahmed of Bangladesh (2021), and David Obuya of Kenya (2007).
