India registered its highest PowerPlay total in T20 World Cups during the encounter against Namibia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Thursday.

Ishan Kishan struck four sixes and one boundary in the sixth over to help the side post 87 in six overs, breaking its previous record for 82 against Scotland in 2021.
Kishan’s opening partner Sanju Samson also contributed an eight-ball 22 to help India to a rapid start after being put in to bat.
