Left-handed batter Axar reached the milestone off 98 balls with the help of nine fours and two sixes. He was eventually dismissed on 130 by M Anjaneyelu.
The 31-year-old Axar had previously scored 12 half-centuries in List A cricket but his highest score was 98 not out.

This is Axar’s first game for Gujarat in the 50-over tournament this season. The last time he played the format was during the three-match ODI series in Australia in October.
Overall, Axar has played 171 List A matches, including 71 ODIs for India.
