Pandya reached the milestone off just 68 balls with the help of six fours and eight sixes.
India’s premier all-rounder came into bat when Baroda was reeling at 71 for five in the 20th over. Coming to bat at number seven, Pandya took time and got to his half century in 44 balls.
However, he switched gears soon and only took 24 balls to reach the triple figures.
In the 39th over, Pandya slammed left-arm spinner Parth Rekhade for 34 runs in an over—third most expensive over in Vijay Hazare Trophy—including five sixes and a four.
He eventually fell after scoring 133 off 92 balls, hitting 11 sixes and eight fours during his stay.
This is Pandya’s first game for Baroda in the 50-over tournament this season. The last time the 32-year-old played the format was in the Champions Trophy in March 2025.
In total, Pandya has played 119 List A matches including 94 ODIs for India, eight for India A, and 17 for Baroda. His previous best score was 92 not out against Australia in 2020 in Canberra. In total, Pandya has scored over 2300 runs in List A cricket.
