How did India players perform in Vijay Hazare Trophy today?
Mumbai skipper Shreyas Iyer announced his return to the squad with a composed 82 of 53 balls in his side’s Vijay Hazare Trophy clash against Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday.
It was his first competitive match after recovering from a spleen injury he suffered during India’s tour of Australia last October.
Meanwhile, India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill had contrasting fortunes on his comeback from injury for Punjab, falling for just 11 against Goa.
With the ball, Mohammed Siraj had a good outing picking four wickets for Hyderabad in its win against Bengal while Prasidh Krishna picked a fifer for Karnataka.
