Greaves Electric Mobility and Alt Mobility team up to scale 700-plus EV fleet in India
Alt Mobility, which currently operates more than 700 Ampere Magnus SW S vehicles in Delhi and Bengaluru, plans to expand the partnership with GEML in the coming months.
The Magnus SW S—developed for B2B use—is being deployed with support from Indofast Energy, which provides energy infrastructure and battery-swapping solutions to improve operational uptime for fleets.Vikas Singh, Managing Director, Greaves Electric Mobility, said, “GEML is committed to strengthening India’s B2B ecosystem by delivering reliable EV solutions to fleet operators and riders. … Our partnership with Alt Mobility reflects our vision to build a future-ready B2B ecosystem where electric mobility is not just sustainable but also accessible and efficient.”
The vehicles will be offered through Alt Mobility’s Drive-to-Own model, which claims to give gig riders, delivery partners, and fleet operators access to cost-effective, zero-emission transport.

The Magnus SW S is built at Ampere’s factory in Ranipet and supported by GEML’s 17 years of EV experience. It includes a dual-frame chassis tested for up to 200 kg payload, 165 mm ground clearance, 12-inch tyres, a high-performance motor, and IoT-enabled features for fleet management.
The scooter comes with a warranty of up to three years or 75,000 km and is supported by more than 500 Ampere Care touchpoints across India.
