Defending champion Mumbai Indians will need to register the second-highest successful chase in Women’s Premier League history to beat Gujarat Giants.

GG posted 192/5 in 20 overs at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday after a 56-run partnership between Georgia Wareham and Bharti Fulmali helped rescue the side from a spot of trouble.

The highest successful chase in WPL history came last season when Royal Challengers Bengaluru hacked down the 202-run target against the Giants in Vadodara.
