Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Donsajh and Ahan Shetty led Border 2 has gained solid momentum at the box office in its advance booking. On the last day of pre-sales, Border 2 has sold almost 75,000 tickets as the final advances are falling in the range of 1,35,000 tickets. This is the biggest advance of the year, and probably the biggest of the last two years if the organic sales are taken into account.

Border 2 is looking to open in the range of Rs. 35 crores on Friday, and if the reports land positive, the business will see big gains over the next 3 days after Friday. The Anurag Singh directorial is expected to clock Rs. 50 crores each on Sunday and Monday, and this should put it in a strong spot to emerge as the first blockbuster of 2026.

Border 2 rides on a strong ensemble and is releasing with sky high expectations from the audience and trade. The film has advances spread for Saturday and Sunday too, which puts it in a good spot to do tremendous business over the holiday period. The advances might not look as strong on the face of it, however, being a mass film, the spot bookings will be stronger, pushing it closer to the Rs. 35 crore mark.
