Actors Himanshi Khurana and Nishant Malkani have opened up about being part of ‘Suhe Ve Vibe’, a Punjabi wedding-themed music video sung by Gandhharv Sachdeva. The song, which also features vocals by Debanjali B Joshi and music composed by Sumeet Bellary, brings together traditional folk influences and modern production, set against the backdrop of a festive Punjabi celebration.

Shot in Punjab, the video leans heavily into authentic wedding rituals, vibrant décor and large-scale celebrations, making the experience feel closer to a real wedding than a conventional music shoot.

Reacting to the atmosphere on set, Himanshi Khurana said, “The shoot had a real wedding vibe, full of warmth and energy, which naturally came across in the video.” Her presence in the song adds a strong Punjabi cultural connect, something the makers were keen to retain while presenting the track to a wider audience.

Meanwhile, Nishant Malkani echoed similar sentiments, highlighting how the scale of the production stood out for him. “Punjabi wedding music has a unique, joyful spirit — and the scale and authenticity of the shoot really captured that,” he shared. The actor, known for his work across television and films, brings a pan-India familiarity to the project.

Singer Gandhharv Sachdeva, who has previously lent his voice to popular Bollywood tracks including ‘Tu Mera Bhai Nahi Hai’ from Fukrey Returns. On choosing the cast, he added, “Casting was equally important. Himanshi Khurana brings a strong global Punjabi connect, Nishant Malkani adds a pan-India Bollywood presence, and veteran actor Arun Bakshi lends the song a timeless appeal.”

The singer also described the thought process behind the song and its casting. “Being Punjabi, I’ve grown up deeply connected to the culture and folk traditions of Punjab… With ‘Suhe Ve Vibe’, I wanted to blend those two worlds — the soul of Punjabi folk with modern music arrangements,” he said, also crediting composer Sumeet Bellary for shaping the sound.

Designed to resonate across age groups, ‘Suhe Ve Vibe’ positions itself as a wedding-friendly track meant for dance floors and family celebrations alike. With Himanshi and Nishant responding positively to the experience, the music video stands out as a collaboration rooted in authenticity rather than spectacle alone.
