Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has shared a deeply personal and reflective message in a heartfelt letter addressed to her younger self, offering insights into her journey in life, love and family. In a video message released as part of an interview, the actor spoke directly to a younger version of herself, celebrating the milestones that have shaped her both personally and professionally.

Please don’t stop doing that. The dreamer in you is your superpower.”

Reflecting on her marriage with actor Ranbir Kapoor, Alia wrote, “Dear little me, please don’t cry over that stupid boy in high school, it’s not worth it. I promise you that one day, you’ll meet the best boy in the world. The one you’ve always secretly had a crush on.” She added that he would love her with “respect, comfort, peace and laughter,” describing him as her “safest place” and “best friend.”

Alia also shared tender words about motherhood and her daughter, Raha, who was born in November 2022. She said, “You’re going to have the most beautiful daughter in the world and your heart will grow in ways that you cannot imagine,” and ended on a light-hearted note: “She’s also going to be a little lawyer, so prep up.”

In addition to her reflections on love and parenthood, Alia spoke about her relationships with her family. She urged her younger self to appreciate her mother more openly, saying, “Please praise mama’s cooking some more… One day you’ll be a mother yourself and you’ll realise how much love went into everything she made and did for you, even on days you didn’t notice.”

Turning to her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, Alia wrote, “Be nice to your sister, one day she’s going to be your best friend. Don’t take her for granted. Give her more time and more love.” On her father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, she added, “Spend time with Papa. One day he will offer you a film, not because of the result of the film but because you want to spend more time with him and those memories are going to be the best memories of your life.”

The message resonated with fans and followers online, as many viewed it as a deeply personal celebration of her life’s journey so far. Alia and Ranbir tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai home. Their daughter Raha arrived later that year on November 6, 2022.
