Border 2 collected Rs. 6.52 crores on Monday. Compared to Rs. 12.53 crores that were collected by the film on Friday, this is a drop of just under 50%. That said, in isolation this is still a good enough number for Day 11, especially so when Rs. 300 crores have already been collected.

From this point on, the collections should normalise and stay around the same lines for test if the weekdays too. Today, there is Blockbuster Tuesday offer and if the collections go up to Rs. 7 crores or more then Wednesday and Thursday should bring in further Rs. 8-9 crores. However, if today collections stay at the same levels as Monday, then one would need to wait for the pickup over the weekend.

As it is, the film is doing quite well over the weekends, as seen in the first two weeks. Especially Saturday jumps are quite impressive. Also, the job is already done and while Rs. 350 crores is there for the taking, it’s Rs. 375 crores milestone that the Sunny Deol led ensemble affair would be aiming for, what with Rs. 308.41 crores in its kitty so far.
