Under-19 World Cup 2026: List of Player of the Tournament winners
Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the standout performer for India with his blistering 175-run essay off just 80 balls. His innings got India to a commanding 411 for nine in 50 overs. Caleb Falconer hit a century but England’s reply folded for 311 in the 41st over.
The southpaw was named the Player of the Match in the final and the Player of the Tournament for this edition, making him the sixth Indian to win the prize. He is the first to win both these awards. Apart from Suryavanshi, Raj Angad Bawa, Manjot Kalra, Unmukt Chand, Ajitesh Argal, and Reetinder Sodhi have won the Player of the Match award in the final.
Suryavanshi ended the tournament with 439 runs from seven innings, scoring at a remarkable strike rate of 169.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was the last Indian to win the Player of the Tournament in 2020. Before him, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shikhar Dhawan and Yuvraj Singh have claimed the honour.
