Mardaani 3 has emerged as a fair success. On its release, it seemed like a low earner in the making, considering the opening day was underwhelming and also there wasn’t any substantial increment compared to Mardaani 2. Also, the weekend collections too were just about okay.

However, it’s the stability that has been seen ever since which has allowed the film to not just cross Rs. 40 crores mark inside second week itself but then also add some more. Currently, the film stands at Rs. 42.20 crores and that’s more than what one expected from it to begin with, especially after its first weekend. What has made this possible is patronage from niche urban audiences at key multiplexes. Also, absence of any major completion helped too since it isn’t as if Border 2 is eating away its target audience.

With Rs. 1 crore+ coming on a daily basis, the Rani Mukerji starrer has managed a decent run so far. In fact, Thursday collections too stood at Rs. 1.10 crore and it would be interesting to see how the film holds today. If by some stroke of luck, the film manages to hit Rs. 1 crore mark even today, then that would be quite good. That said, Rs. 50 crores+ lifetime is now there for the taking and it depends upon third weekend that how fast does it reach there.
