HomeRun raises Rs 60 Cr in Series A funding led by Sorin Investments

HomeRun, a Bengaluru-based quick commerce platform for construction and home-improvement materials has raised Rs 60 crore Series A funding led by Sorin Investments.

The round also saw participation from Titan Capital Winners Fund, Sparrow Capital, Consumer Collective by Atrium and Helios Holdings. Sorin Investments invested Rs 40 crore in the round.

According to a statement, HomeRun will use this funding round to expand product categories, scale hyperlocal dark-store infrastructure, strengthen direct sourcing and supply-chain capabilities, and invest in technology to improve fulfilment reliability and unit economics. It also plans to deepen engagement with contractors, designers and residential communities as it expands into additional cities.

Launched in 2024, the HomeRun app delivers branded construction and renovation materials, including cement, plywood, electrical, plumbing, hardware, adhesives and finishing products, within 60-90 minutes through its hyperlocal, tech-enabled retail network. It serves homeowners and contractors, addressing long-standing pain points around unreliable supply, opaque pricing, last-minute shortages and labour downtime that disrupt construction and renovation projects.

HomeRun Founder & CEO Pukhraj Grewal said, Having spent over a decade in tech-enabled operations and home-improvement services, I’ve seen how procurement uncertainty can derail timelines and inflate costs. At HomeRun, we are building infrastructure that brings reliability, transparency and speed to a category that urgently needs it. Building in Bengaluru has helped us refine a playbook we are now ready to scale.”

According to HomeRun, India’s broader building products and materials market is estimated at roughly $90 billion and projected to reach nearly $150 billion by 2028.

Subeer Monga, Partner at Sorin Investments, said, The retail market for building materials in India remains highly fragmented, opaque and unreliable, despite its size. HomeRun is addressing a mission-critical gap by bringing speed, trust and predictability to procurement, particularly for homeowners and small contractors where delays directly translate into higher costs.”
