India in Super Eight, T20 World Cup 2026: Opponents, venues, match dates – Full schedule

India’s opponents for the Super Eight stage at the T20 World Cup 2026 was finalised on Tuesday after Zimbabwe secured its progression from Group B.

India’s Super 8 schedule and venues

1) India vs South Africa, February 22 in Ahmedabad

2) India vs Zimbabwe, February 26 in Chennai

3) India vs West Indies, March 1 in Kolkata

India will begin the second phase of the tournament by taking on South Africa in Ahmedabad on February 22.

The Men in Blue will head to Chennai, where they will be up against Zimbabwe on February 26. They will wind up the Super Eights with a clash against West India on March 1.

The Super 8s will consist of eight teams divided into two groups of four teams each. The two groups were already decided according to the pre-seedings ahead of the tournament, which means irrespective of where the team finishes—first or second in the table—it will go in the already decided groups of Super 8s.

In case a pre-seeded team fails to finish in the top two, the next best team will take its place in the group. With Australia missing out on qualification from Group B, Zimbabwe will take its predetermined slot in the Super Eights – in Group 1.
