Sahibzada Farhan becomes second Pakistan batter to score hundred in T20 World Cups

Sahibzada Farhan on Wednesday scored a century against Namibia in Colombo, becoming only the second Pakistan batter to achieve the feat in a T20 World Cup match.

Ahmed Shehzad is the only other to have scored a ton in T20 World Cups. He notched up an unbeaten 111 off 62 balls against Bangladesh during the 2014 edition.

Farhan completed his century in 57 balls, helping Pakistan set a commanding 199-run total in the must-win match. Farhan’s century was the third of this tournament, following Pathum Nissanka of Sri Lanka and Yuvraj Samra of Canada.

This was also Farhan’s maiden T20I century, with his previous best being an unbeaten 80 against Sri Lanka.
