Most runs in a T20 World Cup edition: Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan enters Top 10, in sight of Virat Kohli’s record


Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan continued his golden run in T20 World Cup 2026 as he scored a fifty against England in a Super Eight fixture in Pallekele on Tuesday.

Farhan, the leading run-scorer of this edition, now has 283 runs from five innings in the tournament.

With this, Farhan is now the eighth-highest run getter in a single edition of a T20 World Cup.

India’s Virat Kohli sits atop the list, courtesy of the 319 runs he amassed in the 2014 T20 World Cup.
