Techno’s AIoT ecosystem unveiled at MWC 2026 and Watch GT 1S with robust, dual-band GPS and 15 days battery life introduced

TECNO expanded its AIoT portfolio at MWC 2026 by introducing three new devices – TECNO MegaPad 2 tablet, TECNO Watch GT 1S smartwatch and TECNO FreeHear 2 open-ear earbuds. These devices are part of the company’s OneLeap interconnection platform, which provides easy connectivity between smartphones, tablets and PCs.

Techno MegaPad 2: AI power for studies and entertainment: Techno MegaPad 2 has an 11-inch 2.5K display, which comes with 90Hz refresh rate and TÜV low blue light certification. It runs on HiOS and is equipped with AI-based productivity tools.

Its AI problem solving feature helps with homework and study tasks, while AI translation supports real-time translation in up to 140 languages, be it images, calls, meetings or videos. Additionally, AI document summary and writing refinement tools are also provided. With a 6.6mm thin body it focuses on portability.

Techno Watch GT 1S: Upgrade to fitness and GPS
Tecno Watch GT 1S comes with dual-band L1 and L5 GPS, which claims accurate location tracking in both urban and remote areas. This includes heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), stress and sleep monitoring sensors.

The smartwatch supports AI-generated watch faces, which can be created with text-to-image or image-to-image customization. According to the company, it comes with battery life of up to 15 days and 5ATM water resistance.

Techno FreeHear 2: Open-ear design and 46 hours of battery
TECNO FreeHear 2 adopts C-bridge clip structure with open-ear design, allowing users to hear surrounding sounds. It has 10.8mm dual-magnetic driver and special surround sound support.

It is claimed to have better call quality through AI quad-microphone noise cancellation, DNN algorithm and wind-resistant mics. These earbuds can provide 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge and a total of 46 hours with the case.

Don’t know the price yet?
Techno has not yet disclosed the price of these devices. Their sales will start in select global markets between the first and second quarter of 2026.
