Sanju Samson’s third consecutive half-century of the tournament propelled him to third in the leading run-scorers charts after the final between India and New Zealand in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
The opener scored a 46-ball 89 to register the highest individual score in a T20 World Cup final. He has aggregated 326 run is just five innings this tournament. Ishan Kishan, who also scored a rapid fifty in the summit clash, finished fourth with 317 runs.
Sahibzada Farhan topped the charts with 383 runs in seven innings, including two centuries.
