In this survey conducted in eight cities, it was found that 74 percent of the youth spend more than four hours daily on their smartphones. In such a situation, performance and reliability have become very important. Camera quality was the most important factor for 86 percent people in the purchase decision and better battery life along with fast charging for 79 percent people.
Realme led the way in overall customer satisfaction among leading smartphone brands and recorded the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 81, indicating strong support and trust. The survey also made it clear that consumers see Realme as a young and performance-centric brand.
According to the survey, more than half of the young users are planning to upgrade their smartphones in the next one year. The main reason behind this is better design and camera features. Also, advice from friends and online reviews play an important role in the purchasing decision.

Meanwhile, Prabhu Ram, Vice President of CMR’s Industry Research Group, said, ‘Today’s Gen Z consumers consider smartphones a part of their personality and lifestyle. They see how easily the phone fits into their digital life. Design, reliable performance, battery life and cameras have now become normal expectations.
Brands that provide good ownership experience remain popular among the youth for a long time. The popularity of Realme is the result of meeting these changing expectations.
Apart from smartphones, the survey also revealed that Realme also has a strong presence in the TWS (True Wireless Earbuds) category. Especially the level of satisfaction regarding design, battery life and sound quality was found to be high.
The report said that for the youth, good buying experience, easy purchase process and better after-sales support play an important role in increasing brand loyalty.
