Xiaomi has launched its new tablet Xiaomi Pad 8 in the global market. It is the successor to last year’s Xiaomi Pad 7 and comes with an 11.2-inch LCD display, powerful Snapdragon chipset and a larger battery. According to the company, this tablet also works with Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro and Focus Keyboard, which improves both productivity and creativity.

Price and Availability- The starting price of Xiaomi Pad 8 has been kept at EUR 449.9 (approximately ₹ 48,397), which is for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The tablet is available in Titanium Blue color option. Whereas the price of Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro is EUR 99.99 (approximately ₹ 10,756).

Display and performance
Xiaomi Pad 8 has an 11.2-inch 3.2K (2136×3200 pixels) LCD screen, which has 345ppi pixel density and 144Hz refresh rate support. The display comes with a peak brightness of up to 800 nits and TÜV Rhineland low blue light certification.

For performance, the tablet has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. This device runs on HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16.

For photography, a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera has been provided. Xiaomi Pad 8 has a large battery of 9,200mAh, which supports 45W fast charging. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port. The tablet has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
