Nothing Phone 4a vs 4a Pro: Who wins in camera, battery, performance? Before buying, know the big difference between the two.

Tech company Nothing has launched its new mid-range smartphones Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro in the global market including India. According to the company, both these phones have brought better upgrades in camera, battery and performance compared to the previous Nothing Phone (3a) series.

Although the price of both the phones falls in almost the same category, hence the question in the minds of the users is that which of these phones is better. Let us understand their main features and differences.

Display and Design
Both smartphones come with 1.5K AMOLED display, which has HDR10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Nothing Phone (4a) has a 6.78-inch display and 120Hz refresh rate. Nothing Phone (4a) Pro has a 6.83-inch screen and 144Hz refresh rate.

Talking about design, the phone (4a) has a glyph bar which has 63 mini-LEDs. Whereas the phone (4a) Pro has a glyph matrix rear display, which has 137 mini-LEDs and can show more detailed notifications.

Both phones have a triple camera setup and a periscope lens has been added for the first time in the A-series. The phone (4a) has a 50MP Samsung GN9 primary camera. Phone (4a) Pro has a 50MP Sony LYT700C sensor.

Both phones have a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope lens that supports 3.5x optical zoom.

Apart from this, both have 8MP ultra-wide and 32MP selfie cameras. The Pro model supports 4K Ultra XDR in video recording, while the standard model is limited to Full HD.

Both smartphones are equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7-series processor.

According to the company, the Pro model has 27% faster CPU, 30% better graphics and 65% more AI performance. Both phones have UFS 3.1 storage up to 256GB.

Battery
Both smartphones have 5400mAh battery and 50W wired charging. However, the phone (4a) Pro also has 7.5W reverse wired charging, so that it can charge other devices.

Which phone is better to buy?
If your budget is up to Rs 35,000 and you want a good camera, lightweight design and better performance, then Nothing Phone (4a) can be a good option.

But if you can spend up to Rs 45,000 and want a better camera, more powerful processor, 144Hz display and premium metal unibody design, then the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro can prove to be a better option.
