When will Rohit Sharma play next after IPL 2026?

Rohit Sharma was dismissed for a four ball duck by Jofra Archer in Mumbai Indians’ final game of the IPL 2026 season, bringing an end to his campaign.

The Mumbai Indians batter scored 280 runs in eight outings this season, at a strike rate of 160.80, including two half centuries.

So when will Rohit, who has retired from Tests and T20is, next be seen in action?

The Indian team’s first assignment post the IPL is a one off test against Afghanistan between June 6 and 10, which Rohit will not be a part of.

However, Rohit has been named in the squad for the three match ODI series following the one off test against the same opposition and barring any injuries, is expected to play in the first ODI in Dharamsala on June 14.
