Indian smartphone company Lava International has launched its new budget 5G smartphone Lava Shark 2 5G in India. The company has introduced this phone keeping in mind those users who want a big battery, smooth display and 5G connectivity at a low price. The starting price of this phone has been kept at ₹ 11,999, due to which it has emerged as a very strong option in the budget segment.

The company has launched Lava Shark 2 5G in only one variant, in which 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is available. The phone will be available in Arya Blue and Sonar Gold color options. Its sales will start from June 10 through offline retail stores across the country. The company is also providing the facility of free home service with this phone, which is also seen in other Lava smartphones.

Great features of budget phone
The phone has a 6.75 inch HD + LCD display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate. Because of this, the scrolling and gaming experience feels quite smooth. For performance, it has been provided with 6nm based Unisoc T8200 processor. The company claims that the phone has achieved a score of more than 5 lakh on AnTuTu benchmark.

This smartphone works on Android 16 and the company has promised to provide a clean and ad-free experience in it. Additionally, users will also get one Android update and security updates for two years.

Talking about the camera, the phone has a 13MP AI rear camera, while a 5MP front camera is available for selfies and video calling. IP64 rating has also been given in the phone, due to which it will be safe from dust and light water splashes.
