Xiaomi is going to launch its new Xiaomi 17T series in the global market soon. The company has officially confirmed that the global launch event of Xiaomi 17T series will be held on May 28. Whereas Xiaomi 17T smartphone will be launched in India on June 4. After a long time, Xiaomi is bringing back its T-series in the Indian market, hence a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the users about this phone.

According to reports, this series will include two smartphones – Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. However, currently only the standard Xiaomi 17T model is expected to arrive in India. Even before the launch, information about many features and price of the phone has been leaked online.

The company has told in the teaser that the camera system in the new smartphones has been developed in collaboration with Leica. Features like Leica 5x telephoto photography, live portrait mode and stage photography can be seen in the phone.

According to leaked reports, both smartphones will have a triple rear camera setup, which may include two 50MP cameras and a 12MP sensor. It is expected to have a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

Talking about design, flat edge design and square camera module will be seen in Xiaomi 17T series. The company has also shown Violet and Deep Blue color options in the teaser. The design of the phone looks quite premium and modern.

Talking about the display, Xiaomi 17T can get a 6.59 inch AMOLED display, which will support 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Whereas Xiaomi 17T Pro is likely to get a larger 6.83 inch AMOLED display. Both smartphones will work on Android 16 based HyperOS 3.

For performance, MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor can be given in Xiaomi 17T, while the flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset is expected to be available in the Pro model. Both devices can get up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

Battery can also be a big feature of this series. It has been revealed that Xiaomi 17T will have 6500mAh battery and Pro model will have 7000mAh battery. Both phones can come with IP68 rating, which means they will be safe from water and dust.

how much will it cost
Talking about the price, the starting price of Xiaomi 17T can start from around ₹ 52,000, while the Pro model can go above ₹ 70,000. However, its official price in India will be revealed only during the launch event. Considering the camera, large battery and premium design, Xiaomi 17T series can prove to be a very strong contender in the flagship smartphone segment.
