In the world of smart wearables, Oura has launched its new smart ring Oura Ring 5. The company claims that this new ring is 40 percent smaller than the previous model, but it has more advanced health tracking features than before. New sensors, AI based health monitoring and many smart features have been included in Oura Ring 5, which will help users keep a better eye on their health.

Oura Ring 5 has been introduced with a light and strong titanium body. According to the company, it has been given better scratch resistance coating, due to which it can remain as new for a long time.

Apart from this, the ring has got IP68 rating and water resistance support up to 100 meters, making it easy to wear for everyday use as well as in water.

Different features for health
The biggest feature of this smart ring is its new Health Radar feature. This system continuously monitors the user’s biometric data and analyzes long-term health-related patterns. Along with this, Blood Pressure Signals feature is also provided, which can help in identifying signs of heart related risks.

Oura Ring 5 also has Nighttime Breathing feature, which analyzes breathing patterns during sleep. At the same time, GLP-1 Insights feature has also been added for users taking weight loss medicines. The company has partnered with Counsel Health for AI-based health assistance, which will enable users to get better health suggestions.

For fitness lovers, it has been provided with Live Activity Tracking feature, with the help of which workouts can be tracked in real time. Apart from this, Locate feature is also available to find the ring or charging case if it is lost.

How much is the price?
Talking about the price, the starting price of Oura Ring 5 has been kept at $399 (about Rs 38,000). Currently it is available for pre-order in select markets including America. The company has not yet made any official announcement regarding its availability in India. However, from June 2026, some of its new health features can also be made available for Indian users.
