Redmi K90 Ultra can be launched with 165Hz display and 100W charging
Xiaomi is preparing to launch its new gaming-focused smartphone Redmi K90 Ultra soon. The company has confirmed that this phone will be launched in China this month. Although the launch date has not been disclosed yet, its pre-booking has started in China. It is believed that this phone will be an upgraded version of Redmi K80 Ultra which came last year.
According to leaks, a 6.89 inch LTPS OLED display can be found in Redmi K90 Ultra. This screen can come with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, due to which the gaming and scrolling experience can be quite smooth. The phone is also expected to have ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and premium metal frame.
For performance, Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor can be given in it. According to reports, this phone is being designed especially keeping the gamers in mind. For better thermal management, it can also be provided with an active cooling system and cooling fan, so that the phone will not get too hot if you play games for a long time. Apart from this, it can run on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and come with IP68 rating.
How will the camera be?
Talking about the camera, not much information has been revealed at the moment. However, it is believed that it may have a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 20-megapixel front camera can be provided for selfie and video calling.
Battery can be the biggest feature of this phone. According to leaks, Redmi K90 Ultra can get 8000mAh or bigger battery. Besides, 100W fast charging support can also be provided, so that such a big battery can be charged in less time.
How much will it cost?
Talking about the price, its starting price can be around 3,000 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 41,000). If this information proves to be correct, then this phone can make a strong claim in the premium segment with big battery and gaming features.
