In an email sent by Google, it has been clearly stated that the company is updating the settings, so that both parents and children can get more rights over the saved history and personalized recommendations.

What are the new features?

1- Better control over search history

Now you can easily decide for how long your child’s search history will be saved. Auto delete option is also available.

2-Personalized Recommendations

Google will now show less inappropriate or unnecessary suggestions to children. Parents can also limit or completely disable these recommendations.

3-Auto-delete settings

You can choose after how many days the search history, YouTube history etc. gets automatically deleted.

4-Media Saving Control

Parents will also keep an eye on which photos, videos or media the child can save.
