When will HyperOS 4 arrive?
According to the company, HyperOS 4 will be first introduced in China between July and August 2026. Its global announcement is expected to be made after a few weeks.
According to reports, Xiaomi may also start a beta program before the stable update. It is believed that Xiaomi 17 series and Redmi K90 series may be the first devices to get the beta update.
If the company sticks to its old update schedule, the rollout process of HyperOS 4 for global users may start around October 2026.
Which devices can get the update?
The company has not yet released the official list, but based on the current software update policy, names of many devices have been revealed. These include:
- xiaomi 15 series
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra
- xiaomi 14 series
- Redmi Note 15 series
- Redmi Note 14 Pro series
- POCO F7 series
- POCO X7 series
- POCO X6 Pro
Apart from this, some Redmi tablets and Poco devices are also expected to get this update. However, the final list will be clear only after the official announcement of the company.
What will be new in HyperOS 4?
This time Xiaomi’s focus is not only on adding new features, but also on making the system lighter and faster. According to reports, the company is working on ‘Zero-Legacy’ framework, the aim of which is to increase the speed and efficiency of the system by removing old and unnecessary code.
Apart from this, many core apps and system frameworks are being rebuilt with the help of advanced technologies like Rust and Flutter. It is expected to provide better memory management, smoother animation and more stable experience.
Changes in design and AI features also
Xiaomi can further improve its Liquid Glass design in HyperOS 4. New animations, transparency effects and refined user interface can be seen in it.
