Australia remains unbeaten, India knocked out: Full list of records broken in IND v AUS, Women’s T20 World Cup 2026


India’s Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign came to an end on Sunday at Lord’s after losing to Australia by six wicket in a Group-A match. While the Women in Blue bowed out in the group stage for a second consecutive edition, this fixture broke fresh ground in a number of stat points.

Here’s a list of record broken during the IND-W vs AUS-W match at the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026:

  • 171 – Australia broke the record for the highest chase at a Women’s T20 World Cup, and the highest in any women’s T20 match – domestic or international – at Lord’s.
  • 27,163 – The match broke the record for the highest attendance for a group-stage match in a Women’s T20 or ODI World Cup edition.
  • 5 – India captain Harmanpreet Kaur equalled the record for the most 50+ scores in the history of the Women’s T20 World Cup, getting level with the likes of Charlotte Edwards and Meg Lanning.
  • 25 – Harmanpreet smacked her fastest half-century against the Australians, reaching it in 25 balls.
