SL-U19 vs IND-U19: Vimath Dinsara to lead Sri Lanka in multi-format series


Vimath Dinsara will lead the Sri Lanka Under-19 team in the upcoming home series against India Under-19 with Kaveeja Gamage named its vice-captain.

The tour will feature a three-match one-day series and a two-match four-day series. The one-day matches will be played in Hambantota on July 4, 6 and 9, while the four-day matches will begin in Galle from July 13 and in Colombo from July 20.

The one-day squad features promising young talent from across the country.

Wicketkeepers Chamarindu Nethsara and Jason Fernando have also been included in the squad alongside skipper Dinsara and deputy Gamage.

Rehan Peiris, Dimantha Mahavithana, Senuja Wekunagoda, Vimath Dinsara (captain), Kaveeja Gamage (vice-captain), Chamika Heenatigala, Chamarindu Nethsara (wicketkeeper), Dulnith Sigera, Sethmika Seneviratne, Vigneshwaran Akash, Kugathas Mathulan, Jason Fernando (wicketkeeper), Gimhan Mendis, Dimath Abeysinghe, Kithma Vidanapathirana.
