Airpods are free on purchasing MacBook, Apple has started a special offer, check whether you will get it or not.

New Delhi. American tech giant Apple Inc. Apple on Thursday launched its ‘Back to School Education’ offer in India, under which students, their parents and teachers will be given free accessories on the purchase of select Mac and iPad. According to the company, this offer will be applicable from 16 July 2026 to 27 August 2026. During this period, if college students, their parents and all educators purchase an eligible Mac or eligible iPad, they can choose complimentary accessories like AirPods, Apple Pencil or AirTags as per their choice.

Apple said that this offer is in addition to its education savings available throughout the year. The company already provides education discounts on Mac, iPad, Apple Watch and other products. Under the offer, customers purchasing MacBook Air or MacBook Pro will get free AirPods 4 or AirTag 4 pack. At the same time, Apple Pencil Pro will be given to customers purchasing iPad Air or iPad Pro at no extra charge. Apart from this, if customers wish, they can also buy some other accessories at discounted prices. Among these, AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation will be available for Rs 5,000 and AirPods Pro 3 for Rs 13,000.

Many more offers available

Many alternative offers have also been made for customers purchasing iPad. They can buy AirTags 4 pack for Rs 2,000, AirPods 4 for Rs 2,000, AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation for Rs 7,000 and AirPods Pro 3 for Rs 15,000. The company said that customers will also be able to avail the facility of free engraving at no extra charge on eligible accessories ordered through Apple Store online or Apple Store app. College students, their parents and all educators can avail this offer by verifying their eligibility online through Unidays or at any Apple retail store.

iPhone manufacturing increased in India

Meanwhile, Apple has also registered a significant increase in iPhone manufacturing in India. The company produced about 55 million iPhones in India in the year 2025, while in 2024 this number was about 36 million. That means iPhone production in India has increased by about 53 percent in one year. Apple produces about 22 to 23 crore iPhones every year worldwide and India’s share in this is continuously increasing. The main reason for this is the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme of the government. The company says that the incentive amount received from this scheme has played an important role in compensating the cost related challenges related to supply chain and logistics in India compared to China.
