If you recharge by mistake then don’t worry, Jio customers will get the money back.

New Delhi. Recharge was something, something else happened. There must be many of us who have faced this problem. After the payment is made, it depended on the person who received the money whether he will return the amount to you or not. But now Jio has given such an option through which you can withdraw your money within a fixed time limit. However, this facility will not be applicable on every payment.

2 hour time limit

If you have recharged by mistake then you will get a window of 3 hours. During this time you can cancel the recharge. At the same time, customers with international roaming and ISD plans will get a grace period of 2 hours. But if any recharge is going to happen i.e. if it is in upcoming status then it can be canceled for 30 days. Let us tell you that the option to cancel recharge will be available only once in a month and thrice in a year.

How to cancel recharge

First of all go to MyJio app. Login there. After this go to Recharge and History section. Open Recharge History Postpaid customers can access recharge transaction history in Invoice History. Tap on View Details of the recharge you want to cancel. If the recharge is cancelable then the option of cancel plan will be visible.

What to do if you don’t see the option?

If you do not see the cancel button immediately after recharge, then refresh the app after half an hour and try again. If you still don’t see the option, log in to Jio.com and cancel the recharge. But all this work should be done within 3 hours. If you need money immediately then take it in MyJio store credit wallet. Another way is to get the money back from where it was deducted. This process may take up to 21 days.
