The biggest change will be in the message bubble. Currently, WhatsApp message bubbles come with slightly rounded edges, but after the new update, they will appear more rounded and soft looking.
According to the report, the new design will feel very similar to Apple iMessage and will also match Apple’s Liquid Glass design.

Not only the message bubble, but the way photos, videos and GIFs are displayed will also change. Till now, photos and videos in WhatsApp appear inside a bordered message bubble. But after the new update, they will appear without borders, which will make the chat look cleaner and more modern than before.
