If you live in a village and are looking for a cheap broadband connection for your home, then BSNL’s new plan can be useful for you. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is offering 6 months broadband service for just ₹ 1,449 under its Rural Entry Bharat Fiber plan.

In this plan, along with internet, unlimited landline calling and access to Prasar Bharati’s WAVES OTT platform is also available.

Keep in mind that this is not a mobile recharge plan, but a BSNL Bharat Fiber broadband plan. This facility will be available only in those areas where fiber service of BSNL or BharatNet is available.

This plan of BSNL comes for 6 months. That means the price of the entire plan is ₹ 1,449. According to this, the monthly expenditure is around ₹ 241.50. Whereas if you take the same plan month to month, then its price is ₹ 259 per month.

Internet Speed ​​and Data

In this plan, speed of 25Mbps is available up to 700GB every month. Internet will not stop after 700GB data is exhausted. The speed will reduce to 2Mbps.

At 2Mbps speed, you can easily do WhatsApp, web browsing, online studies and general work. However, problems may occur when streaming 4K video, downloading large games or running multiple devices simultaneously.

The thing to note is that 700GB data will be reset every month. This is not data available once for the entire 6 months.
