South Africa’s Lhuan-dre Pretorius became the youngest from the full member nations to score a T20I century in men’s cricket during the Tri-nation match against Namibia in Windhoek on Friday.
Pretorious reached the milestone at 20 years and 161 days, surpassing Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai, who hit his century when he was 20 years and 337 days old.
The opening batter slammed his century off just 52 balls and got out the next delivery after scoring 101 runs with the help of five fours and eight sixes.
Gustav Mckeon of France holds the overall record in men’s cricket at 18 years and 280 days.
