ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2026 Squads: Full list of players for all 16 teams
The 16-team tournament will be held over 23 days and will comprise a total of 41 matches across five venues in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
The 16 teams will be split into four groups of four teams each in the group stage, which includes 24 matches. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Sixes phase of the tournament. The 12 teams in the Super Sixes will be divided into two groups of six each, with the top three teams from Group A and D placed together, while the top three sides from Group B and C will be in the other group.
Each team will play two matches in the Super Sixes stage of the tournament, against teams that finished in different positions in the other group. For example, the top team from Group (A1) will face off against the teams that finished second and third in Group D (D2 and D3).
Moreover, teams will carry the points, wins and Net Run Rate they earned against the sides that progressed in the Super Sixes from their group.
The semifinals will take place on February 3 and 4, before the title clash, which is scheduled for February 6.
Australia, which defeated India in the final of the 2024 edition, is the defending champion, while Tanzania will be making its debut at the tournament.
