To capture this new wave of innovation, YourStory, in collaboration with OpenAI for Startups, has launched a campaign to spotlight developers and founders who are shaping India’s AI story from the ground up. The initiative invites builders using OpenAI tools to share how they’re applying AI to create meaningful impact across sectors like education, healthcare, design, sustainability, and business automation.

The OpenAI | YourStory initiative, titled ‘Breakthrough Builders’, will feature a curated selection of innovators, from students and indie makers to startup founders and enterprise engineers, who are using AI in unique and practical ways. Through short features and reels, YourStory will bring these stories to life, exploring what they built, why it matters, and how OpenAI’s tools helped them move from idea to impact.

Selected participants will be featured across YourStory’s editorial and digital platforms, reaching India’s growing community of entrepreneurs, technologists, and changemakers. The goal is to showcase how AI is becoming not just a technology layer, but a creative partner, helping people build faster, experiment fearlessly, and bring new possibilities to life.
