From April 1, 2026, the annual toll pass available on the National Highway is now going to be expensive. National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has increased the price of annual toll pass. Now from April 1, 2026, drivers will have to pay Rs 3,075 for this pass instead of Rs 3,000.

The new rate of annual toll pass will be applicable for the financial year 2026-27. This pass is only for private (non-commercial) vehicles and for this it is necessary to have active FASTag in the vehicle.

200 times toll crossing or one year validity
The annual toll pass will be valid for one year or till 200 toll crossings, that is, if a vehicle crosses the toll plaza 200 times, then the validity of the pass will end, even if one year has not been completed.

Slight increase in the price of annual toll pass
The National Highway Authority of India has directed all toll plazas and concerned authorities to implement the new rates from April 1, 2026 and this information should be given to the passengers and other stakeholders. The government says that the rates related to toll are reviewed and revised every year. Under the same process, this time the price of the annual pass has been slightly increased.

How to get annual toll pass?
Drivers who frequently travel on the National Highway can easily get an annual toll pass. This facility is provided by NHAI and for this it is necessary to have active FASTag in the vehicle. Vehicle owners can apply for the annual pass by logging into the portal of NHAI or their FASTag issuing bank/app. For the annual pass, the prescribed fee (₹ 3075 from April 1, 2026) has to be paid online. After payment, the annual pass gets linked to your FASTag and you can use it at toll plazas without paying extra.
