Hero Splendor retained its dominance and captured the first position. It sold 3,32,227 units in March 2026, compared to 3,22,529 units last year. This resulted in an increase of 9,698 units and an annual growth of 3.01 percent has been recorded. In terms of market share, Splendor achieved 25.33% share. Its popularity as a computer bike remains in both rural and urban areas.
Tremendous sale of Honda Activa
Honda Activa stood at second place, which sold 2,59,670 units. This is a spectacular increase of 36.86 percent from last year’s 1,89,735 units. Activa’s stormy growth has given it a strong position in the scooter segment. Honda Shine at third position sold 1,73,098 units, which holds 13.20% market share with 14.53% annual growth.
At fourth place was Bajaj Pulsar (1,32,248 units, 24.29% growth) and at fifth place was TVS Jupiter (1,24,771 units, 17.89% growth). Both these models attracted young buyers. However, Hero HF Deluxe has registered a slight decline. Its sales were 85,088 units, which is 7.33% less than last year’s 91,821 units.
From sixth to tenth place were Suzuki Access (72,658 units, 9.49% growth), TVS Apache (47,081 units, 6.48% growth), TVS XL100 (46,192 units, 31.30% growth) and TVS iQube (38,757 units, 46.26% growth) respectively. The highest growth of iQube at 46.26% reflects the increasing demand of the electric segment.

Overall, sales of the top 10 increased by 1,72,069 units, which is a positive sign for the entire segment. Companies like Hero MotoCorp and Honda dominated the market, while TVS and Bajaj also performed well. Improvement in the rural economy, better finance options and launch of new models have boosted this growth.
