Top Selling MPVs April 2026: Increased demand for Ertiga No. 1, Innova and Carens Clavis

Top Selling MPVs April 2026: 7-seater vehicles are a much better option for large families. Competition within this segment is also intense. The same was seen in last month’s sale also. The top selling cars of this segment have attracted a total of 42,542 new customers last month. This figure shows an annual increase of 15 percent compared to the units sold last year.

If we look at last month’s sales report, Maruti Ertiga was the best selling car in the segment. At the same time, demand for Toyota Innova and Kia Carens Clavis has also increased. On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki XL6 was the only car in the segment whose sales have declined. Let’s take a look at the model-wise sales report of the segment.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

Ertiga is at number one in terms of sales. A total of 19,063 new customers were received last month. This figure represents an impressive growth of 20 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 15,781 units sold in April 2025.

Toyota Innova

Toyota Innova is at second place in terms of sales. A total of 9,630 units were sold last month. This figure represents an annual increase of 25 percent compared to the total 7,698 units sold in April 2025.

Kia Carens Clavis
Carens Clavis is at number three in the list. Last month it got a total of 5,465 new customers. This figure represents an annual increase of 3.9 percent compared to the total 5,260 units sold in April 2025.

Maruti XL6

XL6 is at fourth place in terms of sales. A total of 3,527 units were sold last month. This figure shows an annual decline of 14.8 percent compared to the total 4,140 units sold in April 2025.

Toyota Rumion

Rumian has registered its name in the list of top-5 seven-seater cars. Only 2,585 units were sold last month. This figure represents an annual increase of 5 percent compared to the total 2,462 units of Rumion sold in April 2025.

Apart from the top-5 cars of the segment mentioned above, 1,917 units of Renault Triber, 237 units of Maruti Suzuki Invicto and only 118 units of Toyota Vellfire were sold last month.
