Battery may get damaged due to heating of the phone, adopt these measures immediately
Nowadays, smartphone has become the most important gadget in our life. From switching off the alarm in the morning till sleeping at night, we keep using the phone. Dependence on smartphones is continuously increasing for social media, video streaming, online payments, gaming and office work. But with increasing usage, a problem is also emerging rapidly, and that is the frequent heating of the phone.
This problem increases further during the summer season. Many times the phone becomes so hot that it becomes difficult to even hold it in the hand. Constant overheating can reduce battery life, slow down phone performance, and in some cases, even damage the device.
What are the reasons due to which the phone gets hot?
- There can be many reasons behind the phone getting hot. Playing games for long periods of time, recording high-quality videos or running multiple apps simultaneously puts more strain on the processor and battery.
- Apart from this, using the phone in bright sunlight, using local or poor quality charger and continuously running apps in the background can also cause overheating.
- Nowadays, AI based features and many heavy apps in smartphones keep working continuously in the background. These apps use more capacity of the processor, due to which the temperature of the phone starts increasing. In such a situation, you should check the phone’s battery and app management settings from time to time. It would be better to close or remove those apps which are using excessive battery and processor.
- Apart from this, 5G networks and high refresh rates like 120Hz or 144Hz also increase the power consumption of the phone. If you do not need these features, then you can use 4G network and 60Hz refresh rate. This will reduce the load on the phone and will also provide better battery backup.
To protect the phone from overheating, always use the original charger, avoid gaming during charging and give the phone some rest if necessary. With these easy measures, you can keep your smartphone cool and with better performance.
