The fortunate thing was that at the time of the incident the owners of the house had gone out and no one else was present except the pets.
The dog started the toaster
The homeowners moved out, leaving their pet dogs, Bo, Eddie and Dakota, and two cats in the home. A toaster was kept on the kitchen counter. The toaster was already plugged into the switch board. The dog Bo came into the kitchen and jumped on the counter. Bo’s body touched the button attached to the plug of the toaster and it started.
