Google first launched this device in America in May 2026. Now preparations seem to be underway for its launch in India.
What was revealed in the Amazon listing?
According to Amazon’s listing, Fitbit Air will work with both Android and iPhone. Many health and fitness features will be provided in it, such as:
- 24 hour heart rate monitoring
- Sleep Tracking
- fitness activity tracking
- Health advice with the help of AI
- Battery up to 7 days on one charge
This device is shown in Lavender color in the listing. Along with this, users will also get 3 months free trial of Google Health Premium.
Gemini AI will also help you
Google Health Coach feature will be available in Fitbit Air, which will work with the help of Gemini AI. It will give you suggestions to stay better by looking at your daily activity, sleep and health data. That means you will not need to understand separately what improvements need to be made, AI will itself give advice.
If there is no screen, then how will you get the information?
There is no display in the Fitbit Air. It keeps recording data related to your health throughout the day. Later you can see all the information on your phone by opening the Google Health app.
Health features available in it include:
- continuous heart rate monitoring
- AFib (irregular heartbeat) alerts
- Blood Oxygen (SpO2) Tracking
- heart rate variability
- Sleep stage and sleep time tracking
Fitness features are also powerful
Fitbit Air can automatically recognize walk, run or other exercise. If you want, you can also record your own workout. Apart from this, you will also get the benefit of guided workout through Google Health Coach.
Google claims that this tracker can last for 7 days on a single charge. At the same time, with just 5 minutes of charging, you can get a battery that can be used for the whole day.
Currently the device is showing ‘Unavailable’ on Amazon and the price has also not been disclosed. However, it is clear from the listing that the launch of Google Fitbit Air in India is not far away.
