Karnataka squad for Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26: Full list of players announced
While Mayank Agarawal will continue to lead the 50-over side, Karun Nair has been named his deputy. KL Rahul and fast bowler Prasidh Krishna, who are part of India’s current One-Day International setup and featured in the recently concluded series against South Africa, have been named in the squad.
However, with India scheduled to play three ODIs against New Zealand at home between January 11 and 18, Rahul and Prasidh are likely to miss the end of Karnataka’s group-stage campaign and the knockouts.
Karnataka is placed in Group A, along with Jharkhand, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Tripura, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, and will play its group stage matches in Ahmedabad.
It will begin its campaign on December 24 against Jharkhand at the Narendra Modi Stadium B Ground.
