Prime Video’s latest Telugu crime thriller Cheekatilo, starring Sobhita Dhulipala and Viswadev Rachakonda in the lead roles, is steadily gaining momentum following its release on the platform. The film, which began streaming on January 23, has not only caught the attention of audiences but has also received encouraging responses from members of the film industry.

Adding to its growing Telugu content slate, Cheekatilo arrived with an intriguing trailer that generated curiosity among viewers and celebrities alike. Since its release, the crime thriller has been drawing praise for its gripping narrative and performances.

Set against the dark underbelly of Hyderabad, Cheekatilo follows Sandhya, a criminology graduate and true-crime podcaster, who becomes entangled in a dangerous game after a shocking murder reveals a series of buried crimes. Using her podcast as a tool, Sandhya attempts to provoke and expose a ruthless killer, leading to a tense and high-stakes pursuit of truth and justice.

Alongside Sobhita Dhulipala and Viswadev Rachakonda, the film also features Chaitanya Visalakshmi, Esha Chawla, Jhansi, Aamani, and Vadlamani Srinivas in pivotal roles. Cheekatilo is currently streaming on Prime Video.
