The wedding celebrations of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have officially entered a colourful new phase as the Haldi festivities begin in Udaipur. After fun-filled pre-wedding activities, including their much-talked-about ‘Virosh Premier League’ cricket match, a Japanese soiree, pool time fun, etc. the couple has now moved on to one of the most cherished traditional ceremonies.

The ceremony space has been designed as an elegant outdoor setting, enclosed with soft wooden panelling. The circular ritual area is carpeted with delicate pink rose petals, while two small wooden stools sit at the centre for the bride and groom. Surrounding the space are baskets overflowing with bright yellow and orange marigold petals, lending a festive and auspicious vibe. Lush floral arrangements in warm hues complete the serene, garden-like ambience.

Adding a personal touch to the décor, Vijay also shared a close-up of customised floral name placards. One flower-shaped card reads “Rushie,” Rashmika’s nickname, while the other reads “Vijay.” Placed amidst fresh lilies, roses and marigolds, the detail brought an intimate and romantic element to the traditional ceremony.

Rashmika, too, shared glimpses from the celebrations on her Instagram Stories. One frame showcased a vibrant illustrated backdrop featuring two animated dogs enjoying a drive against a golden sunset. The artwork, filled with warm yellows and oranges, introduced a playful and storybook-like mood to the Haldi space. In the foreground, a wicker basket filled with colourful sticks and a bright yellow umbrella further enhanced the cheerful, summery theme.

Another visual revealed an elegant outdoor seating arrangement set beside a calm waterbody. Cane chairs surrounded a round table dressed in a yellow-and-white striped floral tablecloth. Wooden chargers, neatly folded yellow napkins and bright floral centrepieces tied the décor together, striking a balance between traditional Haldi elements and contemporary styling.

The couple, who recently confirmed their wedding after years of keeping their relationship private, are set to tie the knot on February 26 at Mementos by ITC in Udaipur. A grand reception is scheduled to follow in Hyderabad on March 4.
