Redmi has launched its first Turbo series smartphone Redmi Turbo 5 in the Indian market. This phone comes with a big battery, powerful processor and flagship level features. The company claims that this smartphone can prove to be a great option for gaming, multitasking and long-term use.

Redmi Turbo 5 has a 6.59 inch 1.5K AMOLED display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers a peak brightness of up to 3500 nits, making the screen easily visible even in bright sunlight. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection has also been provided for the security of the screen.

For performance, the phone has MediaTek Dimension 8500 Ultra processor. It is provided with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, which ensures fast speed and smooth experience. According to the company, the phone has achieved a score of more than 23 lakh on AnTuTu benchmark. To control heating, it is also provided with 3D Ice-loop cooling system.

The camera is also amazing
Talking about photography, Redmi Turbo 5 has dual rear camera setup. It has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS support. Apart from this, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera is also present. The phone has a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. This device also supports 4K 60fps video recording.

The biggest feature of the phone is its large 7540mAh battery, which comes with 100W fast charging support. With this, users can get battery backup for a long time.

Redmi Turbo 5 runs on Android 16 based HyperOS 3 and the company is promising to provide 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates.

How much does the new phone cost?
The starting price of Redmi Turbo 5 in India has been kept at Rs 37,999. This smartphone will be available in Asphalt Black, Nitro Blue and Turbo White colors. Its sale will start from June 19 on Amazon and other platforms.
